Key Area of Responsibility:
To Manage technical standards and fit blocks development and application, through to offer recommendation in developing fit block pattern best practice according to the brand/product type, but maintain the brand’s DNA and Aesthetic
Review tech pack and pattern, identify areas of concerns, address and resolve prior to sample making at development and production providing pattern support to the business partners and to maintain data integrity at all time.
Open mind to learn 3D virtual technology to support the 3d strategy direction, to execute the vendor training program through to partnership with 3d virtual team.
Join the fit sessions with relative business partners, that to support and make the fitting smooth and effective, of course, including pattern and fit quality support when necessary.
Develop clear understanding on brand requirements and close partnership with brand counterparts, VFA teams to make sure the daily operation efficiency.
Liaise and facilitate problem solving and decision making in any technical related pattern issue to deliver the team success.
Proactively foreseen and resolve any potential pattern or fitting issues, balance cost effective production approach and brand’s requirements through partnership to work with the business partners.
Timely follow-up, monitor process and progress of pattern works to hit deadlines.
Collaboration with HK sourcing team, QA and other cross-functional departments through development and production execution, including factory visit.
Drive for product and process improvement and consistent execution. Encourage best practice sharing.
