- To assist senior analysts in the production of quantitative research in the Asian Equities market.

In the Asia Pacific region, Research covers more than 1400 stocks and has a research presence in a number of markets, namely the Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Korea, Taiwan, India, and more.
Assisting senior analysts in the production of new and periodic research papers/documents
Collaboration with other analysts in developing new research
Development and Maintenance of quantitative models and databases
Maintaining and developing marketing materials
Other ad hoc tasks or projects
The role would be expected to develop into a quantitative analyst role with direct responsibility for research ideas and client coverage.
Relevant industry experience (but not essential).
Strong quantitative background with exceptional analytical detail.
Knowledge of statistical packages such as R, other programming languages such as VBA, and database querying such as SQL.
Bachelors (Honours) or MSc/PhD degree(s)
Education should be in the field of finance, statistics, engineering, mathematics, physics or econometrics
Proven independent research ability together with considerable scientific computing experience (possibly gained through academia).
Excellent verbal skills including delivering presentations and writing papers in English. Fluency in Chinese is a strong plus.
Must be a team player and have ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
