JOB SUMMARY

This position supports the management of portfolio social media efforts for Marriott International in Asia Pacific. This position is responsible for managing necessary platforms, channels, initiatives and reports in support of Asia Pacific social media and marketing strategies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Work Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in communications, digital marketing or related field. Work experience with various social media management tools and software is strongly preferred. Understanding of major social media channels, including WeChat, Weibo, Facebook and Instagram is required.

Job responsibilities:.

  • Social media monitoring and reporting of online conversation

  • Manage the research, production and distribution of internal communications

  • Assisting in management of vendors and agencies for Marriott’s social presence

  • Manage the discovery and amplification of hotel social media content

  • Assist with management of portfolio social media channels including WeChat, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook etc.

  • Producing regular insight reports for various APAC leadership

  • Monitor industry trends, news, tools and applications

  • Manage the execution of quarterly social media awards

  • Assist with the execution of real-time portfolio activations and initiatives Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience working social media, marketing or related field

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Fluency in Chinese/Japanese/Korean is a plus

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong PC and presentation skills

  • Solid understanding of Excel and other Microsoft products
