BSI Group Supply Chain Security Program Manager - Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The mission of the Supply Chain Security Program Manager is to deliver best-in-class, innovative programs that protect our people, assets, and reputation. This position will be a key member of Global Security Programs Supply Chain Security (SCS) team assisting with supply chain policy, audit, and company compliance, as well as ensuring proper support is provided to internal partners working on confidential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Position will have ground responsibilities covering the Asia Pacific and China regions.

  • Manages a regional cargo security program while aligning with global Security function goals.

  • Maximize partnerships with internal and external management staff from our Client business teams, Logistics teams, Trade Ops, Legal, Risk Management, Customer Service, Freight Forwarders and other 3PLs.

  • Maintains a recognized Best In Class supply chain security program.

  • Lead the Clients portfolio with global trade security programs such as Singapore‚Äôs Secure Trade Partnership (STP) and participate with others in global and regional trade security initiatives.

  • Conducts virtual/on-site audits of transit lanes and warehouses where our Client's product is regularly moved fand/or stored.

  • Assess the supply chain landscape and recommend modifications to security plans and supply chain operations at both the regional and global level.

  • Define processes/procedures as well as implement those procedures in the AsiaPac/China regions.

  • The position will work with external service providers to leverage cargo security resources and to monitor compliance with contractual security requirements at the regional level

  • You will be located at the Client's office

Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must have experience managing complex, multi country supply chain security programs, involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Candidate must have experience successfully managing third party vendors.

  • Candidate must have knowledge and field experience in supply chain security, TAPA requirements, C-TPAT, AEO and other trade security initiatives.

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Strong collaborator with proven ability to build successful cross functional relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Able to infuse innovation and creativity.

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays and to handle on-call responsibilities.

  • 8-years of relevant experience or B.A. preferred with 3 to 5 -years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to travel (including internationally) up to 25%, with little notice to accomplish assignments and responsibilities.
