Credit Suisse HK Control and Regulatory COO in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

  • You responsibilities in establishing and implementing key control and regulatory initiatives across the APAC Markets business. The position works closely with Business Heads and Business COOs as well as key Corporate functions.

  • You representing the business regionally and globally in key risk and control forums.

  • Your design and implementation of key controls and regulatory works that come into place, along with you promoting a control culture.

  • Continued improvement of existing control and governance framework in line with regulatory expectations.

  • You performing risk control assessments and control read-across of regulatory fines in the APAC region.

  • You participating and steer meaningful industry group discussion and representing the Controls team on firm global regulatory initiatives such as MIFID, trade repository/ central clearing, which impacts Markets

  • You leading regulatory authorities, incident investigations and critical issues.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a global investment bank in control/risk functions.

  • Deep understanding of the Markets business generally and/or experience with HK regulations relating to Equities trading generally Knowledge of Products and/or HK regulations relating to Equities Trading an advantage

  • Being a self-starter, self-motivated with a strong teamwork approach.

  • Ability to learn quickly and handling multiple demands.

  • Strong awareness of controls and governance

  • Ability to work in partnership with business, business COOs and corporate functions in the region and globally

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent Chinese being needed given the business coverage, along with you having excellent English.

  • Being a degree holder and holding relevant post graduate qualifications CPA, CFA, MBA, along with Business Manager or Internal Control Manager qualification being advantageous.
