To turn business information into insights and drive into action plan with an aim to deliver increased retail growth in the region:

Sales Performance Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly retail sales performance analyses with commentary for management

  • Monitor and report on inventory movements

  • Manage closing and reporting to fulfill global requirements

  • Assist in the financial planning processes, especially retail sales forecast, full year evolution performance analyses, budgeting

  • Prepare scenario studies in various business cases and strategic planning, like new stores opening and closures

  • Appraise on ROI on capex investment and proposed alterations to commercial terms

Expenses Control

  • Review and propose suitable expenses level to appropriately support particular business

  • Monitor and report on monthly P&L and provide advices and alerts on risks and opportunities

Business intelligence

  • Work with area business team to prepare competitors analysis and report on pricing, front-line staff package, distribution strategies and business performance.

  • Incorporate internal business intelligence into regional management reports

  • Product Performance Analysis

  • Provide timely analysis on new launches and thus impact retail sales forecast

  • Provide regular analysis on evolution of catalog products vs specialty and their trending

  • Systems and Procedures

  • Critically evaluate existing workflows and system to provide enhancements and solutions

  • The Business Analyst will be an inquisitive, self-motivated, team player, who will create opportunities and be able to articulate them across the organization.

  • Strong analytical mind, a desire to understand the underlying root causes of issues

  • Attention to details, ability to crunching data into manageable format

  • Problem solving attribute, a strong quest to improve the status quo and improve effectiveness, through identification of and recommending solutions

  • Project Management, the ability to initiate, scope and manage complex cross functional projects and confident at working on ad hoc projects, with colleagues across different functions

  • Presentation Skills, strong ability to articulate analysis into recommended action plans to senior management and retails.

  • Excellent Excel, data management macro, pivot table

  • Knowledge in accounting software and BI tools, like SAP, Orion, Cognos

  • Degree qualified with a high level of mathematical ability
