DHL Express, Inc. Regional Customer Manager in Hong Kong

Reporting directly to Senior Director GMNC Hong Kong and functionally to North Asia Director GMNC Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for and taking an active regional leadership role in developing customer by qualifying customer potential, enhancing relationship, identifying customer supply chain needs, hunting/ winning/ on-boarding new business and preparing transition into regular sales channel account management in order to deliver assigned targets. You will mainly take care of e-Commerce, Retail and Consumer customers with regional headquarters in North Asia. You will also

  • develop up to 20 accounts at regional level which comprises revenue potential validation, customer development plan, cross-BU offering and business won

  • coordinate & align activity cross-regionally and cross-BU

  • own and manage sales pipelines and identify opportunities for cross-BU collaboration

  • create a competitive advantage for the customer by selling service and price for value

  • identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customer and DHL Business Units to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals

  • build executive relationships within the Industry Accounts

  • lead and manage customer presentations and proposals, ensure there is common understanding of service expectations and solutions, both with the customer and DHL BU's, countries, and regions

  • develop and keep current an appropriate regional/country account strategy and business plan in line with country-level business requirements to achieve profitable revenue growth

  • lead and manage the development of business acquisition projects to deliver targeted revenue and profitability levels in line with plans

Requirements :

  • Bachelor degree holder in related disciplines

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial environment, and 3 years' Consultative Selling experience working at Board level;

  • Thorough understanding of Supply Chain concepts, preferably with e-Commerce, Retail and Consumer sectors specialization

  • Possesses international experience, and is culturally sensitive

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Strong individual that can work independently and within a team to deliver results

  • Excellent numeric and communication skills

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
