Who You'll Work With
Our Product Sales Specialists help customers easily integrate, scale, and manage solutions. As part of the Global Inbound Organization, it will be necessary to work cross-functionally with various members of the Headquarters Team and InBound team. This will ensure alignment with the global account strategy and consistent local execution.
Who You Are
In this role, you will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. A successful Cisco Product Sales Specialist will plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close the business. This position is responsible for local, in country component of EMEAR’s Country Global Enterprise Model (CGEM) accounts. The critical sales focus for the Next GenerationSoftware Defined DC & CloudPSS will be on the following activities:
Technology focus – ACI, HX, Analytics, Hybrid Cloud, ISV solutions
GTM – Business Process change & Application integration
Competitive – build and lead the competitive sales activities
SW led selling – Accelerate adoption of reoccurring revenue sales (C1 and ELA’s)
POV/POC – Trial and evaluation with AS. Demo. Demo, Demo
Minimum three to five years experience in specific technology domain/area
Proven track record in managing and winning major opportunities, with the ability to work unsupervised; ability to interact as a value-added team member
Ability to manage a long and complex sales cycle that include both product and services
Experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT Managers, Purchasing, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Good listening and strong presentation skills
This person must work well in teams, understand Cisco's CGEM engagement model and be able to create a win-win environment with key Ecosystem and Channel Partners
Position requires a passion for driving strategies; a strong personality with demonstrated leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization; a strong presence and credibility established with the client base and internally
