BT Marketing & Portfolio Expert in Hong Kong
The role of Marketing & Portfolio Expert will be responsible for the product management & marketing of a specific portfolio/s for the Asia Pac, Middle East and Africa region. This will include responsibility for all financial aspects of the product group including delivering P&L, revenue growth, cost reductions, customer satisfaction, pricing and return on investments. The role will also be responsible for owning, developing and implementing the go to market strategy, new product development, bid management, in-life product/service management and commercial management. The role holder will need to work to develop the marketing campaigns needed in order to generate new pipeline and take the go to market messages out to customers.
The role involves understanding and influencing GS portfolio with strong knowledge of the specific portfolio driving that knowledge across the business, driving programmes to achieve the targets of the business: revenue by product as well as total revenue for the business, EBITDA, margin improvement, speed of C2M process, achievement of business case targets.
The job will carry a range of objectives covering revenue growth, margin improvement, product launches, strategic delivery and marketing campaign messaging and execution.

Key Responsibilities :
Accountable for the specified portfolio strategy, roadmap and execution in the region.
Spokesperson for portfolio area internally and externally
Designs, plans and delivers the marketing activity for the portfoilio in conjunction with M&P Lead for the portfolio
Wins investment funding via star chamber and business cases based on clear vision and evidence of demand for portfolio area in AMEA
Ensures we stay competitive through clear definition of requirements, quality design, innovative commercials, excellent L2C & T2R processes, based on detailed market knowledge and learning from product issues arising
Ensures we launch quality products on time with agreed targets and go to market plans including marketing campaign activity
Drives plans to ensure we deliver against P&L (inc revenue gap plans, cost and margin improvement plans). Ensures accurate revenues tracking and forecasting
Takes ownership of and resolves product issues. Able to explain complex issues and manage stakeholders to reach timely decision
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with rest of global portfolio, operations, service delivery and marketing.
Manages supplier relationships in alignment with partnership strategy. Influences industry forums
Develops accurate and compelling marketing product collateral, training material and tools. Segmentation and clear positioning against other services
Evangelises the new, enables sales and technical designers and generates excitement about the product. Supports sales, specialists and TDs with clear, compelling and up to date product information, roadmap, target customer profiles and lists, special pricing, interacting with customers. Responsive.
Develops strong feedback channel from sales, customers and rest of business for the portfolio area

Typically degree and post graduate qualification in a related subject, e.g. Business or Marketing.
