Overview – Experienced, knowledgeable and passionate candidate to head up Vans Marketing of Hong Kong in support of a rapidly growing business, sustaining brand awareness/equity, adapting to fast changing consumer behavior as well as the dynamic cultural characteristics of the market. Lead the Go-To-Market process for HK by collaborate with Retail and Sales Team
Develop and implement local marketing strategies to align with OGSTM regionally and locally as per the assigned budget
Formulate, supervise and filter all marketing campaigns, activations, grassroots, sponsorship opportunities, trade promotion by determining optimized media mix and effective ROI
Work closely and communicate with cross function (Art, Brand Comm, Environmental and VM) to obtain adequate support for implementation and budget control/tracking
Responsible for the whole marketing budget process from forecast planning to monitoring, invoice submission into system to tracking
Strong partnership with Retail Team to provide effective & efficient marketing support to excel business and generate conversion and traffic. Attend regular weekly Retail Meeting and be the voice to balance targets as well as brand equities. Knowledge on HK retail operation and CRM are plus.
Collaborate with Sales Team to build and maintain a strategic & strong relationship with Wholesale Account to maximize brand awareness and competitiveness among multi-brand channels
Collaborate with Brand Communication Team to devise full year plan (PR, Digital and Social) and monitor the implementation through pre-set KPIs
Lead the skate category by a all-round approach including elevate Vans brand & its performance at key skateshops, groom skate team (paid and flow), organize skate grassroots, and be the face to skate community for all generations
Maintain close connection with Global Team on Brand Activation - House of Vans and lead HOV HK programming, budget control, supervise operation, monitoring and reporting, create content for brand communication to consumers and identify key wins for future opening within region
Strong local knowledge, KOL & Media network, street & cultural community connection and understanding to excel performance as the post would require extensive support from cross function, cross department and external partners, agencies and communities
Responsible for administrative works and hands on duties with the support from part-time/contractor

DISTRIBUTOR MARKET (30%)
Overview – Organized and mindful candidate with Asia-Pacific knowledge as a plus to manage and assist Distributor Markets to promote and operate Vans Brand and marketing at the local level. Strong sense to keep “Global Consistency & Local Relevancy” to ensure Vans Brand identity and DNA are maintained. Willing to travel and be patient and considerate when working with other teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Manage and supervise 7 Distributor Markets by cascading globally & regionally aligned strategies down, guiding & assisting implementation, controlling deliverables, answering queries.
Review & filter global & regional marketing toolkits and assets to Distributor Markets according to their business needs and country’s characteristics to ensure right content is delivered.
Work closely with Regional Sales to keep track on Distributor Market’s business performance and needs to provide adequate marketing support for local execution.
Be the key contact point to coordinate communication with cross functions, schedule & attend regular conference calls.
Education / 學歷背景: Bachelor Degree major in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant streams
Experience / 工作經驗: 5+ years Marketing experience with track record in brand building, preferred in a global leading organization or international advertising or PR agency
