GENERAL SUMMARY

The Senior Credit Analyst works as an integral member of Credit Department and the Brand Finance organization and a partner to the Finance. Responsible for ensuring VF Asia has a disciplined process and control for credit management.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with the Brand Finance to provide financial support and guidance

  • Analyse credit data

  • Evaluate with records and recommend payment plan

  • Preparing credit reporting with information in use for decision making

  • Centrally manage the Trade Receivable section, Allowance for Bad Debts and AR days, for Actuals, Forecast & Plan and responsible for the monthly variance analysis.

  • Own the AR reporting and Credit Exposure reporting

  • Maintenance of customer master data

  • Communicate with Brand Finance and Sales team to resolve complaints

  • Enhance Gross Receivable forecasting process among the Brands

  • Enhance AR reserve forecasting process among the Brands, such as Returns and Bad Debts.

  • Owns the Actual, Forecast and Plan for Credit Department expenses.

  • Ensure Consistency across Brands and VF Asia’s reporting, forecasting and planning in accordance with VF International Policy.

  • Ad-hoc strategic analysis in support of new initiatives (returns, allowance for bad debts , etc…)

  • Oversee all the reporting activities on the above areas of P/L and Balance Sheet

  • Enhance forecasting techniques and variance analysis

  • Responsible for internal controls surrounding areas of credit policy and credit management

  • Perform monthly reconciliation for Receivable, Returns and Bad Debts variance accounts between SAP and MPC.
