On a daily basis, a Credit Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Prioritize and timely processes incoming credit requests, checking completion of package received from RM and ensure timely completion of credit approval packages, including any interim requests

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to prepare new credit proposals and annual reviews on commercial customers under SME segment (incl. credit and financial analysis, and provide recommendations)

  • Maintain an in depth knowledge of Citi credit policies and practices and applicable local and US regulations to assist the

  • Business in achieving compliance and satisfactory internal and external audit results

  • Continue to generate ideas for improving lending process efficiency

  • Learning about a broad range of industries and developing a deep level of expertise on Citi’s credit policies and practices

  • Proactively participating in training and mentorship programs to expand their skill set and network to position themselves for long-term success within the Citi Commercial Bank

  • Conducting research on prevailing industry and market conditions that are key inputs into the CCB’s business development activities

  • Handle credit enhancement projects and formulate related guidelines and procedures

  • Cultivating their own position as a future leader within the business community, getting involved in local organizations to start building a strong network

  • Degree holder with at least 3 solid years of experience in a credit analyst role in commercial bank lending, remedial management or relationship management

  • Candidates with 3-5 years of credit approval experience may be considered for a Credit Approver role

  • The ability to communicate effectively with Sales and Risk teams in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Good command of English and Mandarin
