Director, Advito, Asia Pacific (Managing Consultant) (Air) Based in Hong Kong / Shanghai / Singapore

As Director, Advito, Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for the oversight, delivery and overall success of existing and new client projects, including managing and completing multiple client engagements simultaneously within timeline and budgetary guidelines.

You will also lead / support sales efforts, take a lead role in mentoring and training co-workers and provide leadership and input on internal improvement initiatives related to existing and new products, tools and processes.

Your responsibilities


Lead client engagements, manage projects to timelines and meet client expectations and resource budgets


Identify additional revenue opportunities with the client from both current and future engagements


Educate clients on industry trends affecting the travel environment, prepare and conduct client presentations to provide analysis and consultancy and conduct ad hoc analysis to accommodate specific client needs


Perform quality control metrics associated with project delivery


Coordinate global customer action plans with appropriate Advito staff , BCD Travel account managers, and sales teams


Responsible for delivery management


Improvement of internal processes and productivity, expansion of service offerings, and increasing quality of client deliverables


Provide industry knowledge & expertise and establish best practices


Serve as an expert on Advito proprietary and third-party tools used to conduct consulting analyses


Lead / support sales efforts as well as represent Advito at sales presentations / events


Provide direction, coaching and mentoring to team members, including a clear and in-depth understanding of analysts' and consultants' roles and responsibilities in project delivery

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following:


Relevant degree with min. 8 years of travel industry and consulting experience


Experience in mid-level management position in pricing/yield management and/or scheduling, project management and in-depth experience with incentive and corporate discount programs


Experience in senior role in Travel Buyer / consultant and/or industry supplier capacity


Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills


Fluency in Mandarin required


Advanced analytical skills, as well as highly developed problem solving and decision making capabilities


Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high productivity


Demonstrated ability to lead and work with diverse, cross functional international teams


Capable of managing large and complex client deliverables with changing priorities


Ability to compile, manipulate, and translate data required for deliverables and client reporting
