Purpose Of Role:

The Business Planning Analyst works closely with business owners for each of our major contracts to develop a good understanding of expected resourcing demand across the region. He / she then facilitates discussions with our global service lines to ensure that the service and delivery teams that they provide scale up / down resourcing in anticipation of business growth for the region.

This is an important role in ensuring clarity and accuracy of our resource requirement forecast, representing the market unit in monitoring our resource spend, and ensuring that incremental demand requests receive the necessary scrutiny to support profitable growth of the business. This role also contributes to cost transformation efforts in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

  • To serve as a single point of contact for managing resource demand on our major contracts.

  • To facilitate inputs from both contract managers and our global service lines to ensure accuracy of our forecasts.

  • To run the Bi-annual Rolling Forecasts for the region, as well as monthly interlock with service line leads to account for deviations from plan.

  • To lead the collection, analysis and presentation of planning inputs from the contract management team to the regional leadership team, in order to obtain sign-off on forecasts.

Business Impact :

  • To support cost transformation efforts, particularly in relation to service line efficiencies.

  • To represent AMEA in forums run by the Global Services planning leads.

  • To contribute to broader accountabilities of the business planning team, such as the coordination of our technology partnership program and the administration of the contract manager pay plan.

Qualifications :

  • Degree or equivalent experience.

Skills/Experience :

  • High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.

  • Flare for numbers and ability to present with credibility to diverse stakeholders.

  • Will understand complex issues and be able to distil learning and simplify complex scenarios.

  • Strong communication skills, including an ability to facilitate / chair discussions during the financial planning process.

  • Interest in technology / the telecom industry.
