Structured Credit Sales are currently seeking to on-board a structured credit sales person to be based in Hong Kong at the VP level.

The successful candidate would join the APAC Structured Credit Sales team and work closely with EMCT, PECD, and associated credit partnerships such as G10 Bond Financing and Global Securitized Markets.

There are two potential paths in terms of client coverage:

  • Structured credit generalist covering Hong Kong and Singapore based clients who invest in non-flow fixed income products and

  • Structured credit generalist covering Mainland China/Hong/Macau clients.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate would be as follows:

  • Direct client coverage of Banks, Insurance, Asset Manager, Securities Co, Hedge Fund, Pension and Sovereign Wealth Clients

  • Sourcing, originating, transaction managing and seeking execution on non-flow fixed income products which are accretive to the Credit Products Group (globally) revenue base – highlight are:

  • Citi’s consistently #1 ranked global CLO franchise

  • Full suite of development market asset and liability based credit products

  • Full suite of emerging market based asset and liability based credit products

  • Placement of Securitized Markets opportunities such as US/EMEA Commercial Real Estate (single building, portfolio)

  • Multi product financing solutions (secured loans, derivative based financing, structured repo, cross border financing, senior structured lending)


The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Experience with structured credit, EM credit, derivative products, cross border products from a sales, structuring or trading perspective

  • Experience engaging with clients from an origination/sourcing perspective (sales) or heavy client engagement from a transactional perspective (structuring)

  • Local language skills a considerable plus – mandarin Chinese for those focused on the Mainland China/Hong Kong stream, other Asian languages for the other

  • Ability to engage constructively with product partners and internal risk/controllers
