Experience:

  • Strong Experience in managing an EMEA or APAC Applications Cloud Sales Development / Business Development team

  • Strong networking and contacts within Geography and Corporate functions for all Applications Product Lines

  • Experience in Product Management/Product Development in Applications

  • Experience of developing Applications Cloud GTM Strategies & Sales Plays executable by APAC Sales teams

  • Leading and designing Value Proposition creation in collaboration with Product Development & Corporate Product Marketing

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Applications portfolio, including competition in APAC (Preferably with professional experience in one of them)

  • Very strong experience in Cloud solutions

Detailed job Description

  • Lead the team of APAC Business Development leaders per pillar (CX, ERP/EPM, SCM and HCM)

  • Support of APAC applications sales teams via proper definition of Applications strategy and GTM across all regions

  • Key contact for Development to report and influence on: APAC requirements, Markets trends and strategy

  • Manage Market analysis with Regional Sales VP’s and Business operations to evaluate actions for growth

  • define with Business development teams the APAC GTM on specific solution (new release, new product, acquisition) and contribute to execution of GTM and definition of Business Plan in collaboration with APAC Regions Sales Management and Sales Supporting management

  • Gather and utilize APAC competitive insights and analysis and roll out to local Sales Dev & Sales team

  • Manage regional reporting and pipeline analysis per applications pillar (CX, ERP / EPM, SCM, HCM) and per region to monitor progress in demand generation and define proactive actions to support APAC Applications cloud business

  • Support Marketing key events to present overall Applications/Solutions Strategy

  • Speaker and Point of contact for Analysts and Press for APAC Applications Cloud

  • Influence and validate Product Marketing Strategy and Programs with APAC Applications product Marketing team

  • Support and develop APAC major Sales readiness Programs in coordination with OSPA / Product Marketing / Product Development

  • Support evangelization of APAC Transformational Partners Community

  • Lead APAC Product Solution Boards

  • Support top deals on request of the sales organization (focus on deals related to APAC initiatives, competition programs)

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.
