Tiffany & Co. Director, IT Application Information Services, Asia in Island East, Hong Kong
Responsible for the overall execution of Application initiatives in Asia with primary accountability to represent and coordinate all IT and business functions for local and regional IT requirements. This individual will be a regional contact point for Global ERP programs, with focus in supporting the e-commerce launch, repair servicing module and clienteling enhancement. The ideal candidate will work with the local business partners to understand the business while advocating for a global solution for Tiffany. This leader will be required to manage scope, business priority and conflicts, and escalate to the corporate project team and local leadership.
Lead the Business and IT teams in Region to deliver Global ERP program with focus on supporting Regional/China projects including China e-commerce, repair servicing and clienteling enhancements.
Partner with Corporate counterparts and local teams to ensure milestones are met within existing project budgets and timeframes. Assist in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments for the Region; monitors and tracks progress to plan to ensure deliverables are met and communicates status to project team members and local management.
Manage additional demand for the application portfolio which includes recommendations for trade-off decisions and prioritization. Accountable for ensuring decisions are made for required regional customizations to satisfy needs while advocating the global ERP solution.
Accountable for the coordination and the success of user testing, training and the adoption to all processes and capability changes.
Oversight of third-party process and system integration providers.
Bilingual - Mandarin / English
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or Marketing Management
8-10 years of experience managing, executing and delivering IT solutions and applications with a focus on business functionality and business process
8-10 years of experience in managing complex IT projects and overseeing internal and external project resources
Experience overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting on project and staff performance
Ability to interact with Senior Business leadership
Experience working with Senior IT leadership in a strategic context
Ability to maintain, govern, and enforce global standards, procedures and compliance across multiple independent and concurrent regional teams
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge and application of the full SDLC processes and methodologies
Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with senior business leaders
Successful delivery of Enterprise software implementations as an individual and team leader in an international environment
Consulting background and experience
Retail, e-commerce/digital experience
Travel to U.S. for leadership meetings and within region as needed
