Granite is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Tooling Coordinator. This individual will be based in Hong Kong and the address is TBA will report directly to the Asia and Australia Regional Tooling Manager
The “Tooling Coordinator” is mainly responsible for working at the tool facility to help facilitate business needs and requests for their customer base. This position will recruit a technical competency and experience on the Power generation business employees,
management and office administration he will be also responsible for the EHS inside of the facility and to support his team on the data management

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overall tooling inventory, getting tooling ready for jobs, keeping inventory of the kits and uploading data into the “ tooling management system “.
Up load the Billing costs and sends on a weekly report to Finance. Ensure that all related expenditure is traced and billed back to our customer when necessary.
Working with other coordinators or worker of the facility to maintain and testing the tool.
Maintaining status of tooling calibration. Sending the tools for calibration and repairs.
He is Responsible for the setup of shipping and coordinate with “ Tooling Logistic Coordinator “ the delivery and collection of the tool from the site , the timing and the schedule of the shipment.
Check the tool for their integrity and composition, verify the part list according to the template.
Forklift and crane operation when required for tooling and the workshop.
Daily cleanup to maintain a safe environment in the warehouse.
Maintain consumables stock.
Responsible for site EHS requirements to include all warehouses and Chemicals used by GE.
Working day by day with local calibration vendors
Working on tooling maintenance
Daily routine of working on SDR`S and Maximo; tracking and tracing and getting jobs set up with tooling.
In Country Knowledge of logistics and procedures
Create the procurement request in the procurement system ,work with the procurement team to select the adequate supplier’s and coordinate the delivery of the goods to the tool center .
Contributes to strategic planning activities.
Cooperate with Service managers and Service director to compliantly execute on day to day activities.
Report of damaged, missing, and unserviceable tools especially after receiving tools from sites.
Raise POs to replace damaged and missing tools.
Communicate with Regional Tooling Manager on a regular basis on day to day operations.
React efficiently and effectively to supply field service staff for emergency tooling requestsIn the absence of Tooling Logistic coordinator or in Support if required; Interface with Freight Forwarders/Customs Brokers to schedule shipments. Create Commercial Invoices / Proforma Invoices for International Shipping. Track shipments and obtain proof of delivery at each stage of the shipment lifecycle. Submit documentation to required customs agencies and obtain required permissions prior to shipping. Interface with the Field Service team to ensure shipments arrive and are retrieved on time. Maintain data on tooling locations and status.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Business and commercial acumen Must be fluent in written and spoken English Exercise excellent customer service skills Excellent communication and management skills Possess troubleshooting and problem solving Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and direction Understand office formats and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet. Proactive and innovative. CMMS System and Asset Management System awareness and experience Must display Commitment to the role of Tooling coordinator.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with minimum three to five years site activity in Power Plant facility management experience. Strong experience in Turbomachinery equipment.
