To support our global business growth, we create this new role of Solution Sales Director to engage, understand, qualify, propose and lead the successful closure of identified solutions or service opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and partner with Client Service, Solutions, and Resourcing teams throughout the sales process to accelerate the sales cycle and effectively increase new business wins

  • Support the qualification process

  • Assist customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal

  • Support, guide and coach the Solutions team to define, differentiate, develop, lead and close deals

  • Orchestrate pitch material, proposals, meeting agendas and follow-up

  • Drive partnership and collaboration with key vendors

  • Develop strategy to maximize opportunities and grow market share

  • Assist in successful project launch including often attending project kick-off meetings and keeping in touch with clients to ensure satisfactory product delivery

  • Utilize salesforce to track and report activities and pipeline

Requirement

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years Solutions selling experience preferable in the Professional Services industry

  • Extensive commercial experience and a demonstrable track record of achieving targets in Solutions sales

  • In depth knowledge and expertise in one (or many) of the following areas: Data Solutions, Digital Transformation, PMO & IT Governance, Business Optimization, O2O, eProcurement & eCommerce order fulfillment and Supply Chain Management

  • Demonstrable vendor experience influencing and developing strategic partnerships

  • Credible specialist knowledge and can articulate this well whilst communicating effectively with the client up to C-suite

  • Able to work effectively with subject matter experts in defining the right proposition for a specific clients' needs

  • Able to manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close

  • Proven experience of working in a highly customer and business focused environment

  • Demonstrable presentation, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills

  • Understanding of commercial and risk management in a Solutions environment

  • Able to manage complex sales campaigns, and engaging, building and maintaining relationships at a senior level

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Solution Sales Manager
