We are looking for an experienced HR professional for the position of a Revenue Business Partner (BP) in the Human Capital Management (HCM) division in Hong Kong. The role with be working closely with the team of Revenue BPs based in the Asia Pacific region, and across the globe. The role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic global team, and to partner strategically with our clients. Responsibilities: This role will provide extensive talent solutions and strategy to a particular assigned revenue division of the firm. The individual will be a partner to the business on a wide variety of people-focused activities, both strategic and transactional, including hi-potential and succession planning, compensation and promotions. There will be close partnership with HCM colleagues in the functional teams and with global divisional teams, to provide tailored solutions in areas such as campus and lateral recruiting, professional development and mobility. More broadly, the team acts both as the advocate of the divisional client within HCM to ensure that the people-related needs are considered and appropriately met, and also as the representative to the divisional client regarding HCM, including Wellness, Employee Relations, Benefits and Diversity. The teams are involved in various HR transactions on a regular basis, including designing competitive offers for laterally sourced candidates and meeting with candidates to explain benefits and the value proposition of the firm. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to succeed in a hands-on, high-volume and challenging role. A number of years of prior HR experience are essential, with expertise in at least one functional HR area (with a strong preference for business partner or reward related experience). Building partnerships, driving consensus and facilitating dialogues are key factors for success so candidates should have a proven record of successfully delivering solutions through a group/team approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate is likely to be:
Highly organized, to respond to the variety and volume of responsibility
Strong communication skills to engage with candidates, managers, employees and colleagues
Comfortable working occasionally in ambiguous circumstances to forge new policies and ideas
Highly proficient at analyzing people-related data sets (such as the talent pipeline) to draw out answers/themes and an advanced user of MS Excel
Creative and willing to try new ideas
Fluent in English, to work with the senior management of the division and with global team-members; Japanese or other Asian languages are preferred but not essential
Knowledgeable about HR practices in Asia; an understanding of at least one of: HR practices, talent development, recruiting, compensation, employment law or employment benefits will serve as an excellent foundation
Working in finance currently, or in a high-paced and creative environment
