UBS Financial Services Head of Private Markets Sales Asia in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Your role:

Do you have a proven track record advising clients on building investment portfolios in private equity? Do you have long-standing expertise in the private equity industry? Do you have experience of working in a wealth management business focusing on distribution of investment opportunities to Asia-based family offices, Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth clients? We're looking for someone like that to:

– join our private equity sales and advisory business in Wealth Management Asia

– drive sales of global private equity funds, as single managers or portfolios, to South-East Asia-based clients of UBS Wealth Management

– lead client meetings and presentations to articulate the merits of investment in the asset class, and how specific solutions may be appropriate for a client's portfolio

– gather feedback and insights from relationship managers and clients to help the development of new private equity products

– lead the education and development of Singapore-based UBS teams in the private equity asset class

– ensure clients receive excellent sales and after sales experience, in collaboration with other IPS units, as well as our Chief Investment Office

You’ll be leading the Private Markets team in Asia. We are a dynamic, global team that enjoys working to provide best in class solutions for our clients. We work closely with relationship managers, and take responsibility for sales and after-sales of private equity funds and products.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

– at least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing of private equity or similar products

– strong interpersonal skills (you work well with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with varying levels of skills and expertise)

– proven presentation skills in front of client advisors and clients (you’re persuasive)

– team leadership skills and experience

You are:

– a proactive team player with a successful track record in a demanding and dynamic environment

ability to speak Mandarin or other regional languages would be an advantage
