About the Business Line

Building Engineering

We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.

Job Summary

  • Coordinate between project team members, clients, statutory authorities, or other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation

  • Liaise with statutory authorities for agreement of statutory submission

  • Prepare fire engineering reports, presentations, and any other deliverables as required

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis including computational fluid dynamics simulations and computational evacuation modelling

  • Assist Project Manager / Director in the project ISO quality control, project administration and project execution

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree holder in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical or related engineering disciplines

  • Minimum 4 years (Project Engineer) / 2 years (Assistant Engineer / Engineer) of relevant experience in any aspects of fire safety engineering and project management

  • Proven design and project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget

  • Preferably with working experience in the design of large-scale underground development, casino, airport, metro, road & rail tunnel and infrastructure projects

  • Proficiency in codes of practice of local Buildings Department and Fire Services Department; and relevant international standards

  • Familiar with the overall statutory submission process

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage

  • Hands on knowledge ofcomputational fluid dynamics simulations and computational evacuation modelling

  • Pleasant character, independent & responsible
