IBM Digital Sales Representative in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
IBM’s Distributed Software Subscription and Support organization is looking for Digital Sales Representatives for its Subscription and Support (S&S) digital sales team being set up in Singapore. The S&S mission is to provide the best support for installed customer cross our software portfoilio, including the latest migration to Software As A Service support offering..The Digital Sales Representative (DSR) is focused on selling value and closing the order on-time and fostering client satisfaction.In this role, the DSR is responsible for interacting with inbound leads from the Cloud Data Services digital marketplace, proactive outbound prospecting, and effectively managing all lead channels. This position will have a direct impact on our success by providing qualifying prospects from lead status into the sales pipeline and also securing wins individually. This role will live within the Analytics sales organizations – handling all first contact with new clients and building relationships through prospecting and marketing activity – live chat, events, campaigns, direct mail, email, etc.In this role, it is essential that you are a driven sales person with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) acumen and demonstrate sales instincts and track record in developing business from both inbound leads and your own hunting.Key Responsibilities:
Achieve/exceed bookings objectives in your assigned territory, revenue and signing
Accurately forecast and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings through pipeline management
Develop comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue and signing targets, plus on-time closing
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
In-depth presentations of IBM support and value of new version & IBM solution offering in person and on-line.
Cultivate relationships with IBM with customer and Channel.
Write and executive proposals for installed clients
Represent IBM with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.Requirements:
Solution Selling/Consultative Selling/Renewal Selling and prior experience required
At least 6 years field sales experience in the software industry
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Proven, successful sales track record
Good understanding of software and basic technology
Successful experience in managing complex sales
Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative. A high level of urgency is critical for success.
Proven ability in creating new business and C-Suite level client relationships over the telephone is a must.

Ability to articulate, define and execute creative strategies to grow the Cloud Data Services business and reach new markets to include developer communities
At least 6 year experience in an inside sales or sales/support position
At least 4 year experience in software sales
Basic knowledge in sales process, social selling and lead progression
English and Cantonese : Fluent
