The is an Enterprise Solution BD role focused on driving the sale of Dell’s Enterprise class client portfolio. This person will work with existing Account and Solution Consulting teams to identify accounts that represent the highest value to Dell specific to the client portfolio. Engaging directly with customers the BDM must be capable sharing Computing/Solution Point of view. This would include Dell Client Portfolio, Systems Management, Cloud Client, VMware solution and Mobility point of view. The BDM will target, qualify and drive sales campaigns around a variety of enterprise solutions in a defined territory. The BDM will make customer sales calls to surface, qualify, position and close new opportunities (at existing dell customers and new acquisition customers) and owns the sales quota for their territory.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is an integral part of the Dell BD team, will be responsible for ownership of an opportunity throughout the sales cycle and will engage other subject matter experts or services as needed.
• The BDM must possess a competitive knowledge of the enterprise and consumer class client computer/infrastructure solutions and must be able to articulate how the Dell Solutions differ from the leading competitors.
• Engage on business level discussions around solving end user device and data security management challenges across a customer’s environment. Through this discussion build an overall vision for transforming a customer’s operating environment to meet business requirements.
• The BDM will conduct high level white board sessions to evaluate and recommend business requirements for a range of client compute models.
