Job Summary

Reporting into the Regional Sales Leader, the Business Development Executive/Manager will have a variety of duties aimed at retaining and growing existing high value and potentially high value customers as well as developing new business within their defined territory. The Business Development Executive/Manager will be compensated with a base salary plus a bonus plan aligned to sales performance against targets.

Key Role Responsibilities

As a Business Development Executive/Manager, the responsibilities will include:

Client Communication

  • The Senior Accounts Manager will sell across the FG solution and product portfolio.

  • In most cases, is the primary company representative who communicates with clients.

  • As a result, it is important for them to deliver a positive customer service experience.

  • This is accomplished by listening to each client in order to gain an understanding of their individualized needs, in order to direct them to the appropriate product or solution.

  • It is important for the account manager to manage the expectations of clients; when disruptions occur during the service delivery process, it is imperative that the Account Manager works to resolve situations quickly, as the goal is to maintain the customer relationship and delivery of the account

Account Management:

  • The Business Development Executive/Manager must maintain or exceed a minimum amount of sales.

  • Take instruction from the Sales Director on the customer quota for the confirmed business year.

  • Ability to meet that sales target through value based selling techniques, values, experience and behaviours outlined in this job description.

  • Retention and growth of existing client base with the ability of follow up leads and information from trade shows and events

  • Liaising with the marketing, product and sales enablement teams to help develop a deep understanding for the continued success of strategic sales priorities

Reporting

  • An Account Manager is required to prepare various reports surrounding the metrics of the sales department: quarterly sales results, annual forecasts and account status reports are just a few examples.

  • Reporting documents are presented to senior management.

  • Although an account manager may rely on the support of an administrative professional, such as a sales coordinator, to perform this task, it is not uncommon for her to perform this duty herself, particularly if he is employed in a smaller organization or at a lower professional level.

  • Knowledge of computer programs and CRM systems such as Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.com is required to complete reporting tasks.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Bachelors /Equivalent experience and earned advanced professional certifications in their fields, an experience is the only firm prerequisite for this job.

  • Results oriented. A track record of being a phenomenal salesperson

  • Proven track record of driving important constructive relationships with our customers and managing accounts are a key measure of success.

  • To be an advocate for the sales team and a representative of FlightGlobal

  • Domain experience within the Air Travel and Transportation market is a nice to have but not a necessity
