The System Engineer (Presales) is responsible for working independently and also for assisting our Account Managers in managing assigned accounts or territories.

The role will carry a clear focus on a key RSA business segment and requires the individual to effectively remove of obstacles and barriers working with the sales team to drive deals to successful conclusion.He / She will help to drive the overall sales strategy in Hong Kong and will be considered a quota carrying sales achievement role.

Responsibilities:

Drive RSA revenue by selling selected RSA products, services and solutions to new and existing customers ensuring that quarterly and annual revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Understand RSA and competitive technologies and strategy, and formulate plans to address competitive sales efforts.

Create, manage, and own sales of RSA specialized solutions to senior management and technical architect level customers.

Integrate efforts with other RSA departments such as other Specialized Technology Representatives, Customer Support and Professional Services in efforts to ensure successful transition from pre-sales to deployment

Build and maintain technical relationships between RSA and key technical personnel within assigned accounts, their systems integrators and RSA partners.

Provide technical consultation on sales calls, Executive Briefing Center visits and other account related activities by the account managers.Conduct one-to-many presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.Identify customer requirements and counsel account managers and sales management regarding how to best approach as opportunities.

Provide feedback as appropriate.Own and drive closure to sales opportunities within the accounts.Develop sales tools as required to meet the demands of your local business.Set and manage the customer?s expectation levels to a specific solution or project.Provide feedback to customers on product and solution enhancement requests.Provide technical presentations at customer sites, partner field sales training events, trade shows, etc.; and authoring technical response to RFP

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.Strong technical background with 2-4 years pre-sales/technology/ technical account management or professional Services experience.

Ideal background includes previous work with other security vendors, security specialists or network management providers.Security Operations experience preferred.Security solutions (SIEM, Network Forensics, IPS, Vulnerability Management, AV, Endpoint protection) experience.Network (TCP/IP, Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, etc) experience.Web application (IIS, Sun, BEA, IBM) experience.Directory or Database (MS AD, SunOne, Novell, Oracle, MS SQL) experience.Security expertise in related to Authentication, PKI, Identity Management, Access Management solutions.

Experience in architecting medium to complex customer solutionsExcellent Presentation and Command Skills with well-developed communication, especially persuasion skillsAbility to develop customer trust and dependency through defining technical and business solutions that add value to the customer.

Ability to work collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, and Professional Services team members on product solutions, customer specific milestones, and resolving customer buying objections.A proficient knowledge of leading Security products and solutions. Experience on RSA technologies will be desirable.
